Get your textile pest infestation under control quickly

There are many species of textile pests in the UK but the most common are clothes moths (Tineola bisselliella) and carpet beetle (Anthrenus verbasci).

Moths and carpet beetles often enter homes and places of business in search of shelter and food.  If allowed to breed they can lay eggs in suitable areas and the larvae which emerge will feed on any natural fibres found - these can include carpets, clothing and upholstered furniture - causing extensive damage.   In certain prestigious sites they could even put valuable textile items of historic or cultural significance, such as paintings, at high risk of irreversible damage.  In both cases, professional treatment will be required to control and eradicate textile pests.

If left untreated, there are a number of potential problems that can develop: -

  • textile pests can become established and start breeding

  • damage items containing natural fibres such as carpets, furniture, clothing and valuable items

  • if you are a business owner you could lose money caused by damage to valuable items

London Network for Pest Solutions offers professional treatment to control textile pests effectively.  Call us on 020 8430 4133 to book an appointment as soon as possible.
