Pigeon problems? Think about an eco friendly approach

September 1, 2017

Today saw another new offering from the newly formed pest control company London Network for Pest Solutions with Hawks being flown over Newham Council's Dockside building, Managing Director Paul Cooper said “It had long been an ambition of ours to partner with a hawking company, hawking is not used enough, too many businesses just opt for shooting or trapping birds, when it is just as efficient and often cheaper to disperse them with hawks, sometimes we will have to put up nets to deter birds, but it is our intention and ethos to look for an eco-friendly solution to every pest problem first”

London Network for Pest Solutions has partnered with the well established Hawkforce company yo be able to offer a hawking service to move pigeons away from roosting points. Roosting and resting pigeons cause a lot of problems when they are on buildings, there are numerous diseases, damage, unsightly staining, the attraction of pest insects and when pigeon mess falls onto the ground and gets wet it becomes very slippery.

Pradeep Lawrence said "The use of hawks, is a natural solution for us, it is low cost and cost effective and underlines our commitment to sustainability and the environment".
