LNPS celebrates shortlisting in LGC Awards 2024

Newham-based London Network for Pest Solutions (LNPS) is celebrating after being shortlisted in the Large Team of the Year category at the prestigious LGC Awards.

Organised by the Local Government Chronicle, these awards recognise excellence in local government service delivery. The Large Team of the Year award is open to any council or council-affiliated organisation employing more than 20 members of staff. Finalists must be able to demonstrate their critical importance to the work done by local government and show effective contributions to local democracy and the delivery of seamless services to businesses and residents.

LNPS has been shortlisted after catching the attention of the judges with an entry called: “raising the standard for council pest control.”

LNPS Managing Director Paul Cooper said: “This is a real surprise. Coming so quickly after our success at the SME London Business Awards, it is wonderful that our dedication to delivering effective pest control to the residents and businesses across Newham, London and Essex is being recognised in this way.”

LNPS is a limited company wholly owned by the London Borough of Newham. Their vision is to deliver high-quality, fast, efficient, effective and affordable pest control services to homeowners, businesses, landlords, schools and charitable organisations across Newham and surrounding areas.

Winners of the LGC Awards 2024 will be announced at a special gala event on 12th June 2024 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
