LNPS shortlisted for business innovation award

London Network for Pest Solutions (LNPS) is named a finalist in the innovation category at this year’s British Pest Control Association (BPCA) Members Awards.

The BPCA Innovation Award seeks to reward companies that can demonstrate invention and evolution in a service, product or business structure. The winner must demonstrate the value of their innovation in terms of demonstrable benefits for both the company and customers.

LNPS has been shortlisted for their new, innovative proofing service. They have examined the strategy of pest proofing and developed a new approach that truly combines pest control and proofing into a single solution that has shown remarkable results in keeping properties pest-free.

Instead of the proofing work being carried out by pest control technicians or people with no pest control knowledge, all LNPS proofing work is now completed by specialist handymen trained in basic pest control techniques. They work alongside the technicians to create a seamless service that is making customers very happy – no more returning pests – and is also paying dividends for the company.

LNPS Managing Director Paul Cooper: “I am extremely proud that our proofing service has been shortlisted for the BPCA Innovation Award. It is a testament to the hard work of our pest control technicians and proofing team that this new service has been such a success. Where previously, some properties might need up to 10 visits to ensure an infestation is eradicated, we are now finding only 2% of properties need more than five visits.”

Winners at the 2023 BPCA Members Awards will be announced during a special online event held on 6th June 2023.

LNPS is based in Newham and offers treatments for all pest types to customers across London, Essex and Suffolk. Its portfolio includes private and local authority domestic premises; landlords; businesses; 54 schools and 65 care homes run by local authorities and charities.

In 2022, LNPS was named Small Pest Control Company of the Year at the National Pest Awards and received the Spotlight Award at the BPCA Members Awards. Other awards won by LNPS include the COVID Resilience and Response Award 2021 at the Newham Business Awards and the Best Efficiency and Transformation Initiative at the 2020 APSE Awards.
